Solution

Added multi-put to light system to existing picking system

We installed a control PC to provide the options of by-store (by-customer) picking or consolidated picking without changing upstream systems. We made no changes to the existing by-store picking, but introduced a new put to light system that only accepts data from the consolidated picking.Pick to light areas for each item, location and light module and representative light module areas for each shelf are created according to shipping frequency, and simple inspections are conducted by scanning product barcodes once picking is complete.
